This category collects scenarios that work as standalone adventures, and do not need to follow on or lead into any other scenarios, but can be incorporated into a campaign more or less 'as-is'. They contrast with:
- Category:CoC:Campaign scenarios, which form part of a structured campaign, and where it's difficult to play one scenario satisfactorily in isolation.
- Category:CoC:Self-contained scenarios, which provide both the background to the story, and a natural conclusion to the investigators' adventures - which may or may not be a terminal one. Convention scenarios typically fall into this category.
