Synopsis
Spoiler Section (Highlight to Read)
Dr. Garrick reassembled a powerful telescope long-lost in the basement of the Mechanics' Institute. While enjoying the wonders of what the machine enabled him to see, Dr. Garrick got blinded and insane when a strange, pulsing light crossed his field of vision. In fact, when he peered through the rebuilt telescope, he had the misfortune of looking directly at the alien entity known as a Colour Out Of Space, who had a part of itself captured by the powerful lenses and magnets of the telescope, and entrapped within the astronomer's eyes.
Three years have passed, and the Colour Out Of Space is now on Earth, looking for its stolen essence. As a consequence of its presence in our atmosphere, Dr. Garrick not only is able to see and control himself again (a little, at least), as he established some kind of communication with his symbiont. Being aware of his impending doom, Dr. Garrick escapes Park Sanatorium using his deathly gaze, and plans on using the telescope to send his guest back into space. Investigators have to find Dr. Garrick, and help him to complete his plan.

Keeper Comments
As stated by the author, this scenario is written in an unconventional style. The actions of both the Colour and Dr. Garrick will be given as each follows their own course; neither are just waiting around for the investigators to come by and "activate" them. There's a possible course of action for them, but the keeper can change it as he pleases. If the investigators figure out where either the Colour or Dr. Garrick is going to next and can get there before them then the keeper should play that encounter out as he sees fit.
