This category collects scenarios where the initial hook concerns an item going missing, and the investigators want to work out what happened to it. It might be a relic on route to a temple, an odd spear stolen from the British Museum in a violent break-in, the notes of a recently-deceased scientist, or a book missing from the library in odd circumstances.

Items going missing during the scenario don't generally push it into this category.
