While the scenario is set in 1992, there is nothing stopping it being re-set in the 2000s.

While there are no formal handouts in the scenario Keepers may wish to create the intial message, described as a letter or fax, from the friend to the Investigators. Similarly there are several possible newspaper articles and book excerpts that could be created.
