Synopsis

The Investigators are contacted by a horror writer friend who is working on a low budget film. He states that several people involved in the production have vanished and that he thinks something strange is going on. The Investigators will discover that the cause is a Gaunt, a strange creature that has suborned one of the films cast to supply it with victims.

While the scenario is set in 1992, there is nothing stopping it being re-set in the 2000s.
While there are no formal handouts in the scenario Keepers may wish to create the intial message, described as a letter or fax, from the friend to the Investigators. Similarly there are several possible newspaper articles and book excerpts that could be created.
