This scenario was originally meant to be part of [[Shadows Over Scotland]] but was subsequently separated out when the book ran over-long in layout.  Cubicle 7 plans to publish it as a standalone PDF. Essentially, Ballad is a very dark, very dangerous little one-shot that was to be a counterpoint to many of the longer, investigative scenarios in Shadows Over Scotland. The situation is desperate, the time is short, and the investigators are horribly out-gunned, if you will. The horror is the thing here and the insignificance of the characters is brought to light.

Comments

This scenario was originally meant to be part of Shadows Over Scotland but was subsequently separated out when the book ran over-long in layout.
