Summary

"Fighting evil, with mixed results." Gross-out comedy series based on a short film about a stoner metalhead named Todd Smith, his crushee Jenny, his best friend Curtis, and the geeky Hannah, search their high school for a mayhem-causing Satanic spell book, while being opposed by Atticus, the evil guidance counselor, plus the freakish monsters summoned by the books and a great deal of bathroom humor, gore, and penis jokes.

Ratings

MPAA Ratings

  • Rated: (not rated) (perhaps equivalent to a TV-MA for over-the-top gore and comedic Violence, Profanity, Adult Content, etc.)

Tentacle Ratings

A rough measure of how "Lovecraftian" the work is:

  • S____ (One Tentacle: Debateably Lovecraftian; has almost no direct connection to Lovecraft's work)

As someone once said when listing this as "Lovecraftian": "Todd and the Book of Pure Evil is also centered around a Necronomicon-like book" (not to mention the wacky monsters summoned with the book).

Note: This rating is not intended as a measure of quality, merely of how closely related to Lovecraftian "Weird" fiction the work is.
