Comments, Trivia
Chaosium publication 6023. ISBN 1-56882-170-0. Part of the Call of Cthulhu Fiction line.
The novel, The Slayer of Souls (1920), is not included in this collection because Joshi considers it "an actual novel and not a succession of short stories" (unlike In Search of the Unknown or Police!!!). Nevertheless, The Slayer of Souls mentions a city called "Yian" (probably the source of "Yian-Ho") and a people called the "Tchortchas" (who, while there is no literary evidence connecting them to the Tcho-Tcho People, may be considered to be cognates by speculative readers).
