I've not seen this film yet, but I didn't get a "Lovecraftian Vibe" from the trailer; there seems to be an invasion of standard-issue sci-fi Tentacle Monsters, which at least one reviewer referred to as the "Shub-Niggurat", and at least one description of the film mentions travel in a parallel dimension, so an actual viewing of the film might reveal it be more "Lovecraftian" than the trailer suggests.
