Ratings

MPAA Ratings

  • Rated: not rated (probably equivalent to PG for Violence)

The film had at one time earned a British "X" rating for its gruesome violence.

Tentacle Ratings

A rough measure of how "Lovecraftian" the work is:

  • Ss___ (One and a Half Tentacles: Barely Lovecraftian; vaguely similar in tone)

A lurid story of Malay death-cults and snake curses in Gaslight-era Cornwall, which seems like it would be right at home in a Gaslight RPG scenario....

Note: This rating is not intended as a measure of quality, merely of how closely related to Lovecraftian "Weird" fiction the work is.
