Synopsis
Spoiler Section (Highlight to Read)
Investigators are hired by Lady Amanda Allingham after her husband, Sir William Allingham, was brutally murdered. She wants them to discover whether her house is haunted by the troubled ghost of her consort, and who killed him. The truth is that after Sir William ordered a standing stone, which was considered sacred by the Little People, to be overturned, they killed him and burned his body. Now the Wee Folk roam the house of the Allighams, planning to kidnap their eight-years-old daughter Ursula and sacrifice her and other children as an offering for Shub-Niggurath. To save the children, investigators must stop the summoning of a Dark Young or run for their lives.
