Spawn of the Winds
The Spawn of the Winds (AKA "Spawn of Ithaquaa", "Chidren of Ithaquaa", "Wind-Born", etc.) are from Brian Lumley's "Born of the Winds (fiction)".
Description
For as the Ancient One descended, so His son rose up to meet Him — [the son], racing up the wind in sure-footed bounds and leaps, roaring with a hurricane voice that tore the sky asunder and blasted the clouds back across the heavens in panic flight — [the son], expanding, exploding outwards until his outline, lined against the frightened sky, became as great as that of his alien Sire — [the son], Son of Ithaqua, whose clawing hands now reached in a raging blood-lust, whose snarling, bestial, darkening features demanded revenge!
— Brian Lumley "Born of the Winds (fiction)"
Spawn of the Winds are the bestial half-human offspring of Ithaquaa and a human woman. They can masquerade as human beings, but can quickly drop the disguise in a moment of weakness, such as when angered or feeding, revealing their true: a monstrous parody of humanity distorted by the features of their father.
