Synopsis
The investigators attend a party thrown by a man thought to be dying and wishing to say his goodbyes. However, he is instead using the party to proclaim that he is cured. While technically true, it seems a side-effect of his treatment is some kind of animalistic mutation, and the investigators are driven to action when his behaviour turns feral. Later, having researched the company that prescribed the treatment, the Investigators break in to the company's lab. Once in, security shutters seal them inside. The research lab is locked, but a key is easily discovered, and they can enter. Inside, they discover the truth behind the company’s miracle drug, and must confront a final horror.

Keeper Comments
This scenario accommodates two to six investigators. The location is unspecified, allowing the Keeper to pick a city they are familiar with and use their own local knowledge to add depth and color. When running Panacea, Sandy places ZyMedBio in North Dallas. There’s no reason at all why things can’t be moved to another country (although some of the U.S. references will need to be changed). Six pre-generated investigators are provided for use with the scenario, and the Keeper is advised to use these characters as they have strong links to the opening events of the scenarios. The option for bringing in existing player characters is possible but will require additional work adapting them to the scenario’s premise.
