Ratings

MPAA Ratings

  • Rated: (not rated) (I would expect at least some Violence and possibly some mild Profanity and/or Adult Content)

I've not seen this film, but it seems to emulate old-fashioned black-and-white monster movies, so it's possible it holds close to the spirit of the old Hays' Code, but as a modern horror film I would instead expect at least some at least mild, off-screen Violence, and possibly some mild Profanity and/or Adult Content.

Tentacle Ratings

A rough measure of how "Lovecraftian" the work is:

  • S____ (One Tentacle: Debateably Lovecraftian; has almost no direct connection to Lovecraft's work)

There are tentacles in it, but that seems to be the extent of any "Lovecraftian" influence on the film (other than, perhaps, the black-and-white, low-budget keep-the-monster-in-the-shadows film aesthetic).

Note: This rating is not intended as a measure of quality, merely of how closely related to Lovecraftian "Weird" fiction the work is.
