Ratings

MPAA Ratings

  • Rated: (not rated) (equivalent to a PG-13 or R for mild Violence, Profanity, and Adult Content)

Tentacle Ratings

A rough measure of how "Lovecraftian" the work is:

  • SS___ (Two Tentacles: Barely Lovecraftian; could be a very loose adaptation)

The film apparently at least plays with a Lovecraftian explanation for the bizarre series of events it depicts, with disappearing passengers "coming back wrong", occult forces lurking in the tunnels below a mountain, and references to Miskatonic University.

Note: This rating is not intended as a measure of quality, merely of how closely related to Lovecraftian "Weird" fiction the work is.
