Ratings

MPAA Ratings

  • Rated: (not rated) (perhaps equivalent to PG-13 for Violence)

Tentacle Ratings

A rough measure of how "Lovecraftian" the work is:

  • SS___ (Two Tentacles: Barely Lovecraftian; could be a very loose adaptation)

There are weird leech-gods, deranged and suicidal cultists, strange hellish dimensions that the killers "escape" into, mysterious runes, disappearing grottoes, and of course semi-visible tentacle-monsters described as "miracles", "UFOs", or "Ghosts". The special effects failure of the video-taped scene from "hell" are kind of adorable.

Note: This rating is not intended as a measure of quality, merely of how closely related to Lovecraftian "Weird" fiction the work is.
