Summary

Master Wu, a wealthy wine merchant, is getting married! The match chosen by the matchmaker is a young noblewoman from a respected family: Ah Fei. Your task is to bring her to your master from her distant home province of Guizhou. You've just landed on the shore some distance away, and are being lead by a local guide.

You'll most likely play as pregenerated investigators: Zhang(an experienced soldier), Wu Wei(young daredevil, and nephew to Master Wu), Tam(an accountant), Yeh(a Taoist), and Wong(a Confucian).

Synopsis

 Spoiler Section (Highlight to Read)

Investigators are sent to bring Yidhra in the form of Madam Yi, who is disquised as Ah Fei. She cannot step outside of her sanctum, as the earth of Guizhou province is harmful to her(it was enchanted to do that centuries ago by a wandering Taoist). She'll be transported in a lectern that the investigators will provide. She'll bring 2 of her maidens, who are transforming into a creature similar to Madam Yi.

One of the investigators could take on a role of The One-Eyed Wolf, a leader of a bandit group. He will lead the whole wedding troupe to a monastery that's been overtaken by his henchmen. There he plans to imprison them, and ask for ransom from Wu.

However, Madam Yi will then start consuming NPCs, and with every person she eats, she gets stronger. Before a man gets eaten, he depostis his "genetic material". It's highly implied that investigator controlling Wu Wei should be a centre of affection from Madam Yi, and meet her alone at night. This is very likely to end badly.

Afterwards Madam Yi will stalk the halls of the monastery with her maids, while investigators and monks scramble to learn anything about her in the library.

Keeper Comments

Starts of like a melodrama, encourage roleplay, hand out information on Confucianism, and Taoism. Author assumes a lot of reactions from the investigators.
