MPAA Ratings
- Rated: (not rated) (equivalent to a PG-13 or R for Violence, Profanity, Adult Content, Nudity, Sexual Situations)
Tentacle Ratings
A rough measure of how "Lovecraftian" the work is:
- Ss___ (One and a Half Tentacles: Barely Lovecraftian)
As near as I can tell without seeing the film, the "Lovecraftian" content would be limited to people mutating into Tentacle Monsters - it's basically "Night of the Living Dead, with tentacles!" A "stars are right" theme with a comet strike, the little homages to John Carpenter's films, and the protagonist's fear of the dark, all seem like nice additions to that formula.
Note: This rating is not intended as a measure of quality, merely of how closely related to Lovecraftian "Weird" fiction the work is.
