The Sedefkar Scroll are a collection of fictional manuscripts which first appeared in the Horror on the Orient Express campaign.

Description

The Sedefkar Scrolls are a collection of five manuscripts written during the eleventh century by Sedefkar the Osmanli. The scrolls deal with a magical artifact known as the Sedefkar Simulacrum and the rituals required to use it. The manuscripts are written in Old Ottoman Turkish in the Arabic script.

The scrolls are protected from decay by the vertue of the Skinless One. Any observer with a good knowelkdge of anatomy will notice that the scrolls themselfs are composed of flayed human skin.

Contents

The Scroll of the Head 
The Scroll of the Head records the history of Sedefkar and details how he learnt about the Simulacrum's power.
The Scroll of the Left Arm 
Scroll of the Left Hand contains a balancing ritual that must be used to balance the power of the Simulacrum.
The Scroll of the Right Arm 
The Scroll of the Right Arm contains the complex ritual required to activate the Simulacrum and controll its great magical powers.
Scroll of the Belly 
This manuscript deals with the worship and rites relatining to a being known as the Skinless One. Some of the contents of this scroll may inspire a fear of bare flesh in those who read it.
The Scroll of the Legs 
The Scroll of the Legs contains a large number of spells relating to the body and the skin, on which Sedefkar's power was based.

Location

The exact location of the manuscript is uncertain though the Topkapi museum Musuem in Constantinople is said to hold or have held four of the scrolls in their archives.
