Synopsis
The initially disoriented investigators awaken from a nightmarish vision of an inferno to find themselves next to a ticking bomb in a strange and unfamiliar room (on a walkway in the hull of the Hindenburg) and cannot remember the last few days. After they presumably succeed in defusing the timebomb, however, they realize that they planted the bomb themselves - and that they had a good reason for doing so. Because there is something evil on board the airship in the form of a shoggoth, and it would mean a far worse fate if this monster got to America. When the investigators are finally attacked by Nazi cultists and the shoggoth breaks free, detonating the bomb and recreating their fiery nightmare is their last option (ultima ratio).
