Synopsis

 Spoiler Section (Highlight to Read)
 The islanders have made a deal with the local Deep One population, in exchange for an annual sacrifice, the Deep Ones will ensure the locals fishing boats do well. The supposedly missing girl is a willing part of the ceremony with a non-sacrifical role, the investigators are the planned sacrifice.
