Synopsis
Spoiler Section (Highlight to Read)
The investigators track down two leads in Paris: Guang Ying, who leads the Guardians of the Final Sacrilege, and Louis Lonsdale, a relic collector whose collection is being sought by Sayk Fong Lee. Meanwhile, the sorcerer Lee launches a shadow kite into the skies of Paris to cover his departure by train to Manchuria. In confronting the kite and Louis Lonsdale, some of the investigators become marked by the Seal of the Dragon, placing them in jeopardy of falling under Sayk Fong Lee's control unless they can stop him from gaining access to a Supreme Tattoo that will make him the Ransomer of Divine Right. In a terrible turn, Lee captures Lonsdale and Liu Chen before he escapes.
