Tentacle Ratings
A rough measure of how "Lovecraftian" the work is:
- S____ (One Tentacle: Debateably Lovecraftian; has almost no direct connection to Lovecraft's work)
Another surreal horror film involving inexplicable events occurring in an "eldritch location", leading up to a vague and ambiguous conclusion, the sort of film that suggests cosmic horror to some viewers through the lens of its surreal and unexplained events.
Note: This rating is not intended as a measure of quality, merely of how closely related to Lovecraftian "Weird" fiction the work is.

Spoiler Section (Highlight to Read)
Dead birds rain, strange lights appear in the sky, and other freak events occur around Raven's Gate, a family's sheep farm in Australia where an ex-convict, fresh out of Gaol, has gone to work for his brother and his brother's wife, who is secretly in love with the ex-convict. When a police officer and an Australian physicist/Man-in-Black get involved, things get even stranger. The brother is possessed by a sinister entity, before being destroyed in a ball of fire, ruining the farm in the process, leaving the ex-convict and his sister-in-law to pick up the pieces after the house is mysteriously restored by the Australian men-in-black.
