A troubled foster teen works to expose a dangerous supernatural impostor in her new family and rescue her foster sister who disappears after the teen abandons the child in the woods in a moment of frustration, and a soulless doppelganger emerges from the woods to take the missing girl's place; nobody but the teen realizes anything is wrong until too late.
