Conanby is a fictional village in the English county of Norfolk created by Terry White for the scenario The Art of Madness. It is located on the main railway line between Norwich and Ipswich approximately midway between the two towns. The local economy is agricultural in nature. Reachable by train, or by road from Norwich, Ipswich and Thepford, the village has a train station, two shops, a school, a constable and an inn ("The Ploughman's Arms", 4 Rooms for rent.)
