Bayou Perdu
Bayou Perdu is a fictional Louisana village of 1022 people located 15 miles southwest of Houma, Terrebonne Parish and 50 miles from New Orleans, created by James L. Cambias for the scenario The Bayou Ritual. Reachable only by boat or a single road, the town has the following facilities, a drug store, a general store (with gas pumps), a church, a deputy sheriffs office, a doctors office and a town hall. The major local industries are fishing and rice farming.
A notable feature is a curious stone circle located on a rise just outside the town.
