The missing girl has been kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend, a Deep One Hybrid. He has traded her to the local Deep Ones in exchange for them summoning a Shoggoth to destroy the town.

In the introduction to the scenario the author notes that the versions of Wyman and Bois Bubert Island used in the scenario are fictional. He also states that this scenario is probably best played with inexperienced players.
