Ratings

MPAA Ratings

  • Rated: (not rated) (equivalent of a TV-14 for Violence, and mild Profanity and Adult Content)

Tentacle Ratings

A rough measure of how "Lovecraftian" the work is:

  • Ss___ (One and a Half Tentacles: Barely Lovecraftian)

Not explicitly "Lovecraftian", though many of the same trappings are there: apocalyptic prophecies, a conspiracy of alien minds transferred through space and time in small metal spheres to possess human bodies in a quiet invasion of Earth, an opposing group of ancient alien astronauts leaving warnings to a future Earth about the invasion for their own mysterious and sinister purposes, a small party of marginalized protagonists armed with an occult tome working at the edges of the law to stop the conspiracy and regarded as paranoid psychotics, the occasional appearance of weird tentacle-monster servitors to attack and torment the investigators....

Note: This rating is not intended as a measure of quality, merely of how closely related to Lovecraftian "Weird" fiction the work is.
