The island of St. Kilda, off the West coast of Northern Scotland (Thought to have been inhabited for at least 200 years), has the last remaining inhabitants voluntarily evacuated to the mainland.

Adolf Hitler takes personal charge of both the Sturmabteilung (SA) and Schutzstaffel (SS), dismissing the current commander-in-chief, Franz Pfeffer von Salomon.
