Tom Sullivan's began drawing and sculpting monsters from the age of 5 upon viewing the original King Kong movie and took his art seriously at age 12. In 1979 he did the special effects for the horror movie Evil Dead. Moving to San Francisco, he met Lynn Willis there in 1982 and began working for Chaosium doing illustrations for their Call of Cthulhu role-playing game commencing with Shadows of Yog-Sothoth.
