Keeper Comments
The main monster in this scenario, the Crawling One, is a mound of worms and maggots in the shape of a human body. Since the body can walk, it is easy to confuse this with The Worm that Walks, the previous chapter of the campaign. Again, the problem of multiple authors is evident.
Presumably, the investigators read about the disappearance of the archeologists in a newspaper but there is no handout for this.
