Description
...A humanoid creature some seven feet in height but thin and lanky with a long pointed head. The creature has huge claws at the ends of its fingers, and prominent, sharply pointed teeth.

Gn'icht' Tyaacht - the Children of Nuwanda - are a carnivorous, man-eating race of humanoid tree "spirits" which are spawned by a sacred, black-leafed alien tree called Nuwanda, found deep in the jungles of Africa. A local tribe, the Ikambi cult, worships the tree and its Children, sacrificing human victims to them by hanging the victims and draining them of blood. For the first five years of life, the Children are extremely voracious and dangerous, but can be tamed by the cultists by controlling them with magic and feeding them sacrifices until they have matured, settling into an existence as guardians for Nuwanda. The Children - Gn'icht' Tyaacht in the native tongue - take the form of humanoid creatures about seven feet (over two meters) tall, thin and lanky, with a long, pointed head, huge claws, and prominent, pointy teeth.
Heresies and Controversies
- Cthugha was once invoked by a wizard in the nearby (now lost) city of T'gaorl to tame the "tree-god" Nuanda, who now serves the Ikambi tribe in Cthugha's stead as the tribe's god on Earth. (YSDC, from limited info in Malleus Monstrorum)
