Brood of Ubbo-Sathla

The Brood of Ubbo-Sathla are mindless, shapeless, amoebic masses of protoplasm that inhabited the early Earth, before the emergence of the first continent from the primal mire. They are continually spawned by the idiot demiurge Ubbo-Sathla by a process of sloughing.

Incautious use of the Crystal of Zon Mezzamalech may result in the user being drawn back through time to become one of the Brood of Ubbo-Sathla, losing all consciousness and memory in the process.
