So, scenario page naming for campaigns.

At the moment, this page lists them as Campaign Name: Scenario Name and links to currently unmade pages with that title. However, elsewhere they tend to be linked as Scenario Name or sometimes Scenario Name (Scenario) where it's a name also used for a supplement (or any other source of ambiguity). What do people think is the best option for the actual pages? My inclination is to just use the scenario title alone, include the campaign information in the description, and then use brackets for disambiguation where necessary. Any suggestions or objections? If necessary we can add redirect links to the Campaign Name: Scenario Name pages, though I don't personally think it's necessary. -- ShimminBeg 07:00, 19 February 2013 (EST)

Any special reason to call Savage Lands (Scenario), from Secrets of Kenya like this? I can's seem to find any other CoC-related item named like this, but maybe you know better. --Leonardolad (talk) 01:12, 2 October 2015 (UTC)

Unless there's a supplement or campaign of the same name, I don't think there's any point to having (Scenario) after a title. --Danial79 (talk) 02:23, 2 October 2015 (UTC)

I've seen "Scenario" included in a page title several times, usually for a page title that is likely to have other uses (for example, as Danial said, supplements or campaigns of the same name, and also fiction of the same name, monsters/deities/tomes of he same name, etc.)

In this case, there seems to be a video game, an RPG, possibly a miniatures line, and several other products unrelated to the scenario floating around out there, and perhaps the popularity of that name is why (Scenario) is included. These other products seem unlikely to be mentioned in this Wiki, though; so maybe there was something else going on?

That's what I don't know. I've seen this before, like in "The Trail of Tsathogghua (Scenario)" and "The Trail of Tsathogghua (Supplement)", but I can't really find anything else here named "Savage Lands", so I'm wondering if I should keep the "(Scenario)", in case the person who put it there have plans on adding some other item named "Savage Lands", or I just edit it and go with "Savage Lands" straight.
