Cubicle 7 will shortly be launching it’s Kickstarter campaign to fund the eagerly anticipated deluxe boxed set for Cthulhu Britannica London.
This will comprise:
- A deluxe boxed boxed set containing a comprehensive guide to 1920s London: Her cultures, peoples and historic places, and all manner of things to see and do.
- A detailed Mythos guide to London: Dark cults, powerful antagonists, sites of power and insane plots.
- New professions, spells and items.
- A collection of exciting adventures based in 1920s London.
- A proliferation of maps and handouts and more.
- Everything Keepers need to create their own campaigns and adventures in London
Previously, in a forum thread, Angus Abranson of Cubicle 7 revealed "we're actually currently working on a prestiege boxed set for Cthulhu (a scoop here as we've not publically announced it as yet) which should be in stores in October/November. It's part of our Cthulhu Britannica line."
In a podcast in August 2011, some additional details were released, including the fact that a lot of effort is being made for historical accuracy, using the likes of contemporary Baedeker guides for inspiration. The box was confirmed to include a number of items of specific "period feel", including:
- Local period newspaper.
- Player's Guide that feels like a contemporary Baedeker guide.
- Secrets of Occult London Keeper's Guide.
