The Typhonian Beast, inspired by Egyptian iconography depicting an unidentified animal, is given a treatment as a Mythos creature in Malleus Monstrorum.

Description

A strange, jackal-like creature with a long, curved snout, squarely-set ears, and tufted tail, which acts as a servant, guardian, and bearer of sacrifices for Set. It is possible for particularly intelligent Typhonians to learn and cast Mythos spells.
