Dust-Men (AKA "The Sand-Man") were an original creation designed by Robert Horowitz for the Malleus Monstrorum.
Description
Dust-men live in the Dreamlands where they appear as vague, featureless man-sized humanoids composed of brown or grey dust. Mouthless, they communicate with complex gestures.
— Robert Horowitz for the Malleus Monstrorum
Dust-Men are weird, featureless, shadowy humanoid entities composed of living dust, found mostly in the desert regions of the Dreamlands. They disturb the sleep of dreamers, sprinkling a cursed dust into their eyes which allows the Dust-Men to control dreams and influence the victim's waking life as well with hallucinations, or even controlling the victim's physical actions - the victim can't be compelled to do anything they wouldn't do when fully conscious and in control of their own actions, but they might be caused to make careless mistakes such as walking into a dangerous situation, knocking something dangerous over, etc.
