Inhabitants of Yekub' first appeared in "The Challenge from Beyond" (1935), a "round robin" commissioned for Fantasy Magazine, written by C. L. Moore, A. Merritt, H. P. Lovecraft, Robert E. Howard and Frank Belknap Long.
