Jeux Descartes was the French licensee of Call of Cthulhu from 1984 to 2005. They also published other board and roleplaying games. When the company went out of business in 2005, their assets were sold to the Asmodée game company, which publishes Jeux Descartes games under the imprint Descartes Éditeur. However, this imprint does not include Call of Cthulhu material.
