Summary
The Tomorrow People are teens who have special powers of Telepathy, Telekinesis, and Teleportation and battle earthly and alien villains, sometimes with the help of a Galactic Federation of psychics, a psychic spaceship, and an organic computer named Tim. The series saw an original run in the 1970s, followed by a revival with an all new cast and modified premise by the same creator in the 1990s, and then a glossy and short-lived American revival targeted toward a more modern young adult audience in 2013.

The original series seems to have escaped the sorts of complaints about violent content that plagued the contemporary and vaguely similar Doctor Who (1963 franchise).

A rough measure of how "Lovecraftian" the work is:

The series on the whole seems a bit too idealistic and optimistic in tone to do much justice to any sort of even remotely "Lovecraftian" theme, and as a result there is perhaps not much in this series that could be considered "Lovecraftian"; nevertheless, at least one episode involved dagger-wielding cultists, another involved an ancient alien astronaut named "Kulthan", and yet another referred to a demonic being called "Suggoth".
