The Investigators are hired by Miskatonic University to investigate strange sightings near Arkham.

Synopsis
Several Elder Things are fleeing through time and space from shoggoths. They arrived near Arkham via a gate. A hungry dinosaur also joined in the fun.
The scenario is definitely a sandbox, the timeline concerns only strange sightings on Aylesbury Hill, west of Arkham. Probably not recommended for new and/or inexperienced players as the playtest notes indicated all members of one group will killed, while another all but one were killed.
It would be a very exciting adventure and the means to an end are quite open.
