17:54, 6 December 2018 (UTC) I've revived/repurposed this category for the purpose of a category for Lovecraft's imaginary more-or-less Mythos-touched families, both horrible and heroic, for which elaborate genealogies have been created by Lovecraft, and expanded by his friends and imitators in the decades since.  Lovecraft refers to these genealogies more frequently than I realized, with references to the relationships between characters in different stories taking the form of "Easter eggs" for those who recognize them, revealing further elements of backstory hidden in a seemingly throw-away reference to the Witch Trials or some odd event in a distant age and place.
