Spoiler Section (Highlight to Read)
The Investigators are travelling to visit a priest they know, when they observe a kidnapping attempt. The intended victim is an actress heading to her grandfather's funeral. Later, they further their acquaintance and discover a curse has been laid on the whole family. They also learn of a strange grave uncovered beneath at their friend's church, with a mummified body and a preserved heart. Shortly afterwards, their friend vanishes, along with the mummy. It turns out two cults are at work in the city, and there is a plan to summon an ancient god.
