Bret Kramer (aka WinstonP) has been gaming for far too long, and claims that the first horror RPG he played was 'Pirates and Plunder' not so much for the game as the game's character generation rules.

A historian by training (but not by employment), he tends to favour elaborate game preparation and has been known to cackle with glee when putting together handouts.

He lives in Massachusetts with four sometimes lovely cats and his always lovely wife, who thankfully hasn't figured out she's far better than he deserves.

He is the author of "Machine Tractor Station Kharkov-37", a MULA monograph from Chaosium [ (buy it here!) and the scenario "Baggage Check", available from The Unbound Book and a few other things he swears he'll have done any day now.

He has also been quoted in The Economist as "one speaker". Honestly.
