The Johansen Narrative is statted out in the Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition Rulebook, and originates in H.P. Lovecraft's The Call of Cthulhu (fiction).

A handwritten account of sailor Gustav Johansen's violent encounter with a ship full of violent pirate-cultists in the Pacific Ocean, followed by the discovery of a strange, recently-surfaced volcanic island covered in strange, alien ruins.
