Summary

Synopsis

While transporting a cargo of alcohol to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia the crew of a schooner make a horrific discovery. During a storm, one of the barrels in the hold bursts open revealing an immature shoggoth. An explosion in the cargo kills the creature before it can do much harm. Ordered by their mobster employer to find out who was behind the "hit", the crew must trace the path the canister took back to its origin. During the hunt for the culprit they will discover that one of their number is not who they thought they were...

The schooner in this scenario is described as the sister ship to the schooner featured in the authors earlier scenario The Crate & The Coffin featured in Adventures Unlimited, Issue 01.
