The Tale of Priest Kwan is the title of a fictional volume which first appeared in the Masks of Nyarlathotep campaign.
Description
The Tale of Priest Kwan is a little known work which records the deeds of the of the High Priest Kwan; a former leader of The Order of the Bloated Woman. Most volumes of The Tale are written in Mandarin though copies in other Chinese dialects may exist
Contents
Subjects include: an account of how Kwan humbled a rich noble through sheer faith and persuasive argument, a section dealing with the Deep Ones and their sleeping God and descriptions of the rituals and ceremonies practiced by the Order. A number of other spells; often in the form of poems, are also included.
