Synopsis

Michael E. Trout, editor of Stupefying Stories magazine died in a fire at his home, shortly after contributors Celia Abbot, Richard Black & Dale Guthurste all died in various accidents. The owner of Stupefying Stories asks the Investigators to get to the bottom of the string of deaths. The investigators soon discover that the three dead authors were making use of the services of a ghost writer, Arkham residence P. H. Valecroft to improve their stories.
