Marcus D. Bone, Full time Business Consultant, Part time Horror Consultant, is best known as one of the founding editors of DEMONGROUND (www.demonground.org). More recently he has focused his attention on Call of Cthulhu (through the production of The Unbound Book - www.unboundbook.org - a magazine devoted to 1920s Call of Cthulhu adventures) as well as becoming a consultant/editor for RedBrick's Earthdawn Classic (www.earthdawn-classic.com) Fantasy roleplaying game.

As a contracting Technical Writer and a full time father of one, I know all about horror. Indeed, roleplaying and writing in Lovecraft's world of Great Old Ones and Elder Gods is light relief when compared to the stresses of a normal day in the 21st Century.

When he's not knee deep in horror, Marcus enjoys wargaming (GW's LOTR and Battlefleet Gothic) and writing (historical fiction and theoretical discussion) as well as playing computer games and watching any sort of sport. Living in Auckland, New Zealand, he and his wife have no children and no pets (if you don't count Plush Cthulhu) and finds his lifestyle very relaxing thank you.

Although not as productive as I wish to be, I'm probably best known as one of the founding editors of DEMONGROUND (www.demonground.org), and more recently the creative influence behind The Unbound Book - a magazine devoted to 1920s Call of Cthulhu adventures. I've also  involved in a number of other RPG ventures; a consultant/editor of RedBrick's Earthdawn (www.earthdawn.com) Fantasy roleplaying game, and as the licensee of the new Dark Conspiracy, GDW's classic game of conspiracy horror (www.darkconspiracytherpg.info).

As a contracting Technical Writer and a full time father of one, I know all about horror. Indeed, roleplaying and writing in Lovecraft's world of Great Old Ones and Elder Gods is light relief when compared to the stresses of a normal day in the 21st Century.

When not knee deep in horror, I enjoy wargaming, reading historical non-fiction and trying to maintain a home which seems to constantly threaten to be about to full apart on me.
