Marcus D. Bone, Full time Business Consultant, Part time Horror Consultant, is best known as one of the founding editors of DEMONGROUND (www.demonground.org). More recently he has focused his attention on Call of Cthulhu (through the production of The Unbound Book - www.unboundbook.org - a magazine devoted to 1920s Call of Cthulhu adventures) as well as becoming a consultant/editor for RedBrick's Earthdawn Classic (www.earthdawn-classic.com) Fantasy roleplaying game.

When he's not knee deep in horror, Marcus enjoys wargaming (GW's LOTR and Battlefleet Gothic) and writing (historical fiction and theoretical discussion) as well as playing computer games and watching any sort of sport. Living in Auckland, New Zealand, he and his wife have no children and no pets (if you don't count Plush Cthulhu) and finds his lifestyle very relaxing thank you.

A fan of Call of Cthulhu and Lovecraft in general since the late 80s, Marcus is best known for his work as a Founding Editor of the Origins nominated DEMONGROUND gaming zine and the short lived The Unbound Book (A fanzine of 1920s Call of Cthulhu Scenarios).

In 2010, Marcus revived Unbound Publishing as a way of releasing lovecraftian horror material, and produced Monophobia - a collection of Call of Cthulhu scenarios for a lone investigator - available for download.

Outside of gaming, Marcus works as an ICT consultant (despite having a degree in Anthropology) for central and local government organisations in New Zealand. He is happily married, the father of two teenage boys, and is an avid fan of most sports.
